Gibbs Phibian
On February 7, 2012, Event Management and Technology, hired MDfilms to capture footage of the Gibbs Phibian, the company’s latest amphibious vehicle. Gibbs is a Michigan-based company that continues to prove they are revolutionaries in the technology used to create these amazing machines. The Phibian is a high-speed vehicle that travels from land to water so efficiently that it’s geared towards clients such as the US Military and law enforcement.
MDfilms used the Canon 7D with various lenses as well as the GoPro HD HERO2 for the shoot. The GoPro cameras were mounted on the Phibian as it skimmed across the Potomac River with the Capital and Washington Monument as the backdrop. Footage of this amazing machine was compiled into a video used for the Phibian’s press release and trade shows, including the American Society of Navel Engineers Conference. Gibbs Technologies

OK Go – Needing/Getting – Official Video
The new music video from OK Go, made in partnership with Chevrolet. OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside
A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they’d play the right note no matter where they were struck. For more information and behind-the-scenes footage, see and . Many thanks to Chevy for believing in and supporting such an insane and ambitious project, and to Gretsch for providing the guitars.

Raiding The Lost Ark
If your a Indiana Jones fan, you will enjoy this behind the scenes look into Raiders of The Lost Ark
After the success of Star Wars Begins, filmmaker Jamie Benning embarked upon a new adventure. This time turning his attention to the first film in the Indiana Jones Trilogy (yes, trilogy!). Raiding the Lost Ark, A Filmumentary is the culmination eight months of reading, trawling, interviewing and editing. This time Jamie has sourced some of the interviews himself, with contributors from Wolf Kahler (Colonel Dietrich), Brian Muir (legendary sculptor), Mark Mangini (part of the Oscar winning sound team) and most surprisingly Sean Young (talking about her audition for the part of Marion Ravenwood). Raiding is available for your viewing pleasure on Vimeo from 4th February 2012.”

Back in November of 2011, Armin Van Buuren did a 6 hour set at the DC armory in Washington DC. The show was sold out (over 10,000 people). Many companies can provide lasers for events but my client “Image Engineering” takes things to a whole new level. Here are some moments captured with the 7D
